How can I purchase a Filene’s Basement gift card?
Gift cards can only be purchased in store.
How can I find out how much value is left on my gift card?
There are three ways you can verify the current balance of either a merchandise credit or gift card:

Present your card at any register to obtain the current balance.
How can I get a replacement for a lost/stolen gift card?
We do not replace lost or stolen gift cards.
What is your return and exchange policy?
Merchandise must be returned in saleable condition within 30 days (14 days for Downtown Boston), unaltered, with the original sales receipt and with tickets attached.
With A Receipt: Refunds will be issued in the same manner in which they were originally purchased.
Without A Receipt: Items retuned without a sales receipt are eligible for credit at our discretion, at the current selling price, after verification of merchandise. A valid driver’s license or state ID card must be provided. If the merchandise is under $10.00, we will issue a cash refund. If the merchandise is $10.00 or more, we will issue a merchandise credit.
Name and address is requested on all returns. Some specific merchandise policies may apply. Merchandise purchased in the Boston Downtown Crossing store can only be returned or exchanged at that location due to the automatic markdown plan.
Fine Jewelry (all stores) – Due to their uniqueness, fine jewelry returns will be accepted in the store of purchase, for thirty days only. Returns must have receipt and original tags.
